Aug 23 -

The last 5 weeks have seen 3 new trail easements donated to Jackson Ski Touring Foundation.

In addition to Bengt Karlsson's easement donated in July, the Foundation is the recipient of two new trail easements.  Bruce and Victoria Hill and Anne and Steve Frost have donated easements for trails that cross their respective lands.  Read the press release

August 18 -

US Forest Ranger Joe Gill and JSTF Exec. Director Thom Perkins spend the morning on the east slope of Popple Mtn flagging a final route line for the future Keeney Trail.  Here is Ranger Gill deep in the puckerbrush as we search out the fine tuned route.  Engineering, permitting and funding are the next steps to building the trail.
